Know just how you feel HEX ... sort of like you have a hex on yourself. Being a LUCENT retiree I know how you feel. My 401K is just a shadow of what it once was. Lost tens of thousands and I only have myself to blame because I just didn't want to believe this company could fall so far.

And reading your post about what Agere was going to do back in November I just lôôked to see what Lucent's closing price was back on November 1 and it was $3.53 a share. It rose to close at $4.13 on November 18 and started sliding until yesterday when for some reason it popped 19 cents to close at $3.70.

Today, for some reason it has pooped and longterm shareholders will be lucky if it manages to close at November 1st price of $3.53. Going by on the ticker at the moment at $3.45 a share. Will take some buying around 3:30 PM to kick the price back to $3.53 a share.

One step forward and two steps back!

Anybody know why it popped yesterday and is there a reason for the drop today other than profit taking????

I haven't checked for news so I'll rely on someone whose in the know....ANON
