View -> Toolbars -> Customize is a great place to poke around.

For my settings, I like "Selective text on right" for "Text Options," and "Small icons" for "Icon Options."

Also, I remove all the toolbar buttons I never use.

(You can also move around the sections of your toolbar, or create a second or third row in the toolbar to get more room, by unchecking "lock the toolbar" and dragging stuff around. For instance, my Links section has an entire row to itself, with links to everywhere on the internet I like to visit, labeled with short names... SI, CNN, etc. for one-click access. Then re-lock the toolbar when you're done.)

Another nice thing about saving the URLs of your SI quotes on your Links bar (or in your favorites) is that no matter where you are on the internet, you can still get one-click access to your quotes without going back to SI first, assuming you hadn't earlier signed out of SI or erased your cookies.
