Horses just don't make the case for evolution, Joe.

To prove evolution, you must connect horses to the first amphibian that crawled out of the primordial ooze. Or better yet, to the first single cell organism in the ooze.

Think of all the millions (zillions?) of transitional creatures that must constitute the links to the creature called "horse." Or to the creature called "homo sapiens."

Not a single example of these countless transitional creatures has ever been found in the fossil record. Yet we find fossilized dinosaurs up-the-gazoo.

If you are an evolutionist, doesn't this give you pause for thought?
