I think the Fed will go all out to only prevent a SEVERE recession. Not to prevent a recession as such.

One could have said that 5 years ago.Why would the Fed raise ST interest rates so much that they inverted the yield curve while we had the biggest bubble in the country's history?

A.they are stupid
B.They wanted a recession.
C.??

The Fed usually does the wrong thing in the end.Most of the time they lower too much and raise too much.Why would it be different now?
