No telling when builders will crack- I suspect any weakenesses in sales will be chalked up to weather or seasonality. This I do know - home prices have stagnated in my area since the summer and within a hundred mile radius about 4 new developments have come online. Also, my sister in law bought a house in California's Central Valley in early Nov. for 252k and as of this week and several releases later,
they are still going for 252k. They offered incentives to go with the lender, next will come the move in incentive and the
"free" upgrades - then we will know they are desperate.
