You will be pleased to know that I have traversed the RUBICON trail which goes from Georgetown, Calif. to Lake Tahoe in my jeep. Actually starts at a place called the ICE HOUSE. Anyhow this is the only trail rated 10 on a scale of 1-10 for difficulty. jdn

That is wonderful.

The closest I came to seeing a Wolf was when we took highway (if you can call it that) 253 from Ukiah Calif to 128 then on to highway 1 and Manchester St. Park.

A wolf came bounding out of the woods, stopped in the middle of the road (if you could call it a road), stared at us for about 30 seconds and bounded back into the woods.

Later that evening we heard a report on the local radio station that a half wolf, half malamute had gone missing. LOL we had to laugh, and felt fortunate to see him. He was huge and looked like a pure bred wolf to us.

He also looked as happy as could be.
