The BOE's MPC (Monetory Policy Committee) is made up of the following.

The Bank's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) is made up of the Governor, the 2 Deputy Governors, the Bank's Chief Economist, the Executive Director for Market Operations and 4 external members appointed directly by the Chancellor.

The MPC meets on a monthly basis and a schedule of meeting dates is available.

The Treasury has the right to be represented in a non-voting capacity.

Decisions are made by a vote of the Committee on a one-person one-vote basis, with the Governor having the casting vote if there is no majority.
