Ted, re: The stats came from the CIA.....is that now considered a liberal org. by the right?

He's just like Bush, and the article Al posted earlier. They know the truth; data is not going to influence their opinions. Bush is not going to "negotiate with himself". In other words, he has his ideologue mind made up, and he's not going to let any facts get in the way.

That's right. Its like the arguments I have with Peter Dierks........either he makes an argument that invalidates the facts that I've presented, or he attacks the source of the facts, claiming they are biased. You can't win. And if you don't agree with them, the problem has to do with your inability to admit when you are wrong.

The GOP here still has not accepted that WA state has elected a new governor. They have made one accusation after another in an effort to invalidate the results. Now they simply say the election was not done properly and they have gone to court. In the meantime, they are attacking the new governor, stating she should not have gone ahead with her inauguration; that she did not win the election.

It doesn't matter that the election and its aftermath were done exactly in accordance with state law. They don't agree. Its called narcissism. And you are right the Age of Reason has ended in this country. We are going backwards.
