You are so right, and there have been so many times I've wished you were here to answer questions about TA.

I know I could read about the charts, but their explanations leave me more confused than I was before the 20 day moving average.

I love the escaping soap explanations...

Ven,
Is the market technically ready to bounce back soon? Or is the January effect going to wait another month.

Gush

You have your priorities straight, sir.

Here's an interesting storm cloud... hadn't heard of this before:

==================================================
Bear Stearns attributes the mkt sell-off to GM's guidance. Firm notes that both GM and F have $100 bln in debt between them, and they are very close to having their debt downgraded. Firm thinks that if that happens a number of bond managers will have to sell, which would do tremendous damage to the overall bond mkts. While firm had regarded the equity slide as a mere correction, they think a debt downgrade for the two autos would resonate through the corporate bond mkt and in turn would be a huge negative for equities.
