Fosomax is indeed the one of three medicinal remedies for bone loss. Avista is the other and yesterday I read where there will be an injection which one gets TWICE a year that takes care of what a weekly Fosomax pill does. Anyway I have had health problems and am going to go for complete Medical everything.. from soup to nuts. IF I find that the causes are not organic then I will return to Nutritionist and get a plan for eating and what meds to take that are not harmful. One only has to look at the Vioxx story to know that not all drugs the FDA approves are good for one. Fosomax needs 15 ounces of water and one must not lean over or sit down or lie down for 30 minutes. That sounds harsh doesn't it ?
