WASHINGTON (AFX) -- U.S. business inventories jumped 1 percent in November, more than double the 0.4 percent gain in sales, the Commerce Department said Friday. The inventory-to-sale ratio, a key measure of intended inventories, rose slightly to 1.31 in November from October's record low of 1.30. Inventories rose in all major subcategories. Retail and wholesale inventories each rose 1.1 percent in November, while factory inventories rose 0.7 percent
