WMD was the main reason given for the war. That Saddam had a nuclear bomb. No more time for letting the inspectors do their work.

Condi Rice summed it up. "We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud"

This was the reason given for the need to attack Iraq. We were in immediate danger...remember?

That was a bunch of hooey.
