I was very disappointed in Mr. Thornburg. He let us down.


One has to remember that he was hired to limit CBS' liability, not increase it. He reamed CBS News pretty severely, all considered.

Mr Thornburg is a man willing to trade his reputation for cold hard cash. That's what CBS was buying when they hired him.
