Do you have any upgrades factored in? A lot of the early adopters at DoCoMo and "3" are probably already upgrading, I'm not sure what kind of volume would be involved, but I could see an extra 1M-2M in the December quarter as a possibility.

The 5.5 to 6 million number breaks down something like this...

Docomo
2 million net adds
~500,000 upgrades/churn

Hutchison
2.5 million net adds
~250,000 upgrade/churn

Vodafone
500,000 net adds

Orange/ROW
100,000+

Docomo had about 7 million FOMA customers prior to the quarter, but I'm not sure what the churn/upgrade rate would be for them. It would seem likely that they tend to be the consumers that upgrade their handsets the most.

Hutchison had 4 million customers prior to the quarter, and from the UK boards, it seems like many of them have had multiple handsets. I'm not sure if this is representative of their entire subscriber base though....the UK subsidies are considerably higher than the rest of their networks.
