No halo effect? No market share improvement? How do you handle the following: "While PC shipments were generally in line with our aggressive estimates, we note that Apple grew total PC unit shipments 26% year over year, roughly 2 1/2 times the rate of the world-wide PC market. This is the first quarter displaying irrefutable evidence of an iPod halo effect on PC sales, in our view. -- Richard Gardner, Smith Barney, who has a "hold" rating on the stock" All BS! Comparing Apple's numbers to last year is pointless as Apple had a terrible year. If Apple had sold only one computer last year, I'm sure BS would be pumping the glorious halo effect as Apple has now shown a 1 million percent increase. JMHO.
