Hey, up there, jim p! You been livin' UP there in Colorado too long? Seems like everything you see is DOWN or goin' there. <ggg>

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[pc20!c10!c50!c89!c40!c30!c200!f][vc6...

I look at that chart from down here in Dallas area, and I'm lookin' at some different potentials that yield a different perspective to the trend.

Ex: I see the amazing similarity of today's early a.m. pattern of; narrowing TMA's; up spike in price; and virtually every other indicator displayed, to the pattern being made on Fri. Nov.19, which evolved into another high in the uptrend.

Our perceptions differ in that you apparently look at one lower top, and see an almost certain reversal to a downtrend, which you reiterate in a subsequent post....whereas I look at that chart and, given the current sector fundamentals (as I perceive them), I'm NOT inclined to advise so readily that profits should be taken at this moment. Maybe Frank's, Big's, and Q's optimistic perceptions will be validated?

And looking at current driller prices at this minute, I grant you that your familiar comment, "we shall see" seems very appropriate.

From th' lowlands,

Buck

While I don't disagree with being light on this sector, I did notice that in spite of lower highs, the OSX is also making higher lows. Ergo, the jury is still out on the next major move, IMO.

Jim_P, As I look at your OSX chart from the EW standpoint, I see a series of ABC corrections forming a "flat", which is a consolidation pattern. It is normally followed by another impulse wave up.

So, "Weshallsee" is definitely the watch word. I can see it going either way, but with a bias towards up.

Such differing opinions are what make markets. However, you have got me nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. My finger is never very far from the sell button.

I did buy COSWF in my IRA for a long hold and some CREE in the IRA for a trade.

Best to all,

JRH
