He started messing around the holes and when I suggested he should home his reply was "you can't make me". Now it's -10 and the kid starts toeing the water in one of the holes, slips and lands on his ass and his leg goes in the water up to his knee, when he pulls his leg out of the water his shoe is gone. "Kid, you need to go home." "You can't make me." Then he got a look on his face like alcoholics that quit drinking would call a moment of clarity. Hop hop step all the way home quickly.
