kholt, All that is needed to do to lower the cost of Medicare is to mount a serious campaign to eliminate the rampant fraud that is being perpetrated within the system. I have witnessed many cases of false charges, over charges, and any other method of stealing money from the Medicare pot. In 3 events, I have sent the information to the fraud division of Medicare, with information to prove the fraud, and being government employees, absolutely nothing was done. Millions, if not billions, of dollars could be saved if fraud could be eliminated.
