I am saying that is doesn't matter whether he said it or not. And I freely admit he did not. What matters is that he said Saddam was a threat worthy of a preemptive strike and it has turned out that he wasn't. He was wrong. And while you can point to many that were also wrong it doesn't absolve him of the responsibility because he is the one that commanded the war.

Why don't you address the rest of my point?

If it was not an imminent threat, then why did we launch a pre-emptive strike?! Are you saying that Saddam did NOT pose any serious danger and YET we attacked him?!

(In case you didn't realize it, that makes your case even worse and even weaker, not better or stronger!)
