Re: Quite a saga. I can just visualize your wife's reactions. Yes and then apply a textured mud finish on top of the drywall; (it looks cool) turn the dark overhead beams to glossy white and so forth. The Mantel, doors, trim, windows, and baseboards will all be glossy white. The now textured walls will be medium chalk. I must say….since the walls are now textured (near chalk in color) I can see the big screen. Buy a Sony for your home. Buy TXI for an Investment. <g>
