And who do the Palestinians want to determine Palestinian policy? Or are they helpless and hopeless tsumani victims, who can only beg for aid? Negotiations are not charity. I give this, you give that. Abu Mazen will get some benefit of the doubt and get only so long as he gives positive steps. If he does not or cannot move against Hamas and Hizbullah, he will never get the end to the occupation.

If you were an Israeli would you end the occupation if you knew that 1000 Israeli civilians would die the next week because you did? That is the real-life equation. Every step Israel gives has not been rewarded but punished. Which is fine with you, you clearly don't give a damn.
