Terry, Back testing 20 setting Bollinger vs.10 Bollinger over a 2 year time frame on TXI yields some difference in the trend shift reaction time as you suggested. 20 day: 139.142.147.218 10 day: 139.142.147.218 10 day gives you a tighter hug in the trading range. As I always do, I was keying on the reversal points and in the case of TXI I noticed it was not making it back to the 20 EMA in my normal setup before it bounced: 139.142.147.218 Hence is why I adjusted the mid-line to a 10 EMA which is where one can expect it to methodically bounce as it trends upward. 10 EMA with no bands 139.142.147.218 Reid
