long term trend - finance.yahoo.com graph shows the DOW, NAS and SnP from 1982 to present. amazingly similiar returns over 24 years. red blip for the NAS shows how crazy out of synch it got (in retrospect) -of course, in late 99, early 2000 it was the "new paradigm" larry
