The take-away message is that if you are a white collar criminal, crime does pay:

America is one unholy screwed up mess. This ignorant nation will incarcerate a man for decades because of some victimless association with a voluntary recreation like marijuana usage, while at the same time the most malevolent criminals in our society, men like Ken Lay, walk around as arrogant "free" men. This is just completely the opposite of what a decent society would look like.
