Yeah, it's always great to have a runner while other cheap stuff is getting beaten on. A few years ago -- post-9/11 -- it became popular to bail from/short small biotechs during H&Q and after "January effect". I didn't think it would dent the sector this year. Wrong again.

There are too many fund managers out there now who use seasonal trading dogma to make money....... sell biotechs, second week of January and in May. Rally them late February to May and September to year end.

It's no longer possible to push against this garbage. You either have to play along, sit it out, or pray for luck. Yes, it's good to be overweight stocks that are going up while others are taking an irrational hit. Luck carries the day, again.
