Bill Brill....a local sports writer for the Roanoke Times made the statement last year that "in his lifetime" Virginia Tech would never win an ACC football championship. Mr. Brill died before the Sugar Bowl was played. Before the 2000 Georgia Tech game sportscaster Lee Corso picked Georgia Tech to win the game. The game was rained out and there was severe lightning in the area. Mr. Corso's rental car was struck by lightning in the parking lot. Is there a lesson to be learned here...??????
