There was no bubble in 1980.In fact it was the end of the LT inflation side of the inflation/deflation cycle.That's why it took such a high st interest rate .

BTW..since we are now into the deflation side every recession takes a lower interest rate than the time before.(the opposite of the inflation side)Since the last was 6 3/4 % it will take a FF a lot less than that.
