Thx for the vote of confidence. Sometimes I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall when I talk to people about social security.

But I guess it is a complex subject, made worse by the spin on both sides of the aisle. Still it bothers me, because this program is so critical to so many people. It bothers me, because you really do need a decent understanding of finance to be able to pick the right choice. That's too bad, because if you think about it, we have lawyers in Congress making decisions that actuaries and finance people should be making instead. That's a little scary.

Your argument is so far over the heads of these guys you don't have a chance -- they can simply end the argument with a little namecalling. They haven't the most basic understanding of the subject matter in the first place, as is indicated they deny the existence of any problem.

Yes, this is real complicated stuff. It hurts my brain to think about it........and you're an idiot.
