This one smells of payola and crassness.

I'm assuming that you forgot to add the <gg>. Few of the books featured on Ms. Crispin's site are going to sell many copies, regardless of her reviews. Overall, not a bad accomplishment for a 26-year old. At that point I was eight years into my college career.

I thought that it was quite appropriate for protege to post the article with Ms. Teachout's comments. The political blogs are here to stay and they will probably have an even greater impact on future elections. If they are accepting money from candidates, whether from the left or from the right, we should know.

It was sloppy of the Dean campaign to pay consulting fees. They should have bought ads. <gg>

As for Armstrong Williams, I suspect that he is already regretting the day he took that $240,000. He has lost his credibility. If I am not mistaken, he has already been dropped by his syndicate. For the most part, the cable talking heads have been hesitant to go after him too hard. A little closed club.

It will be interesting to see if any other paid commentators are flushed out.
