I put Progress in my daughter's education fund last summer and sold it in the fall. I would avoid.

I think ESII is overvalued. Depending on the premium, I might be a buyer. Do you want a diversified fund? If so, look at CTD and EIT and OGF, though yields are lower. Another diversified I like is LPR.UN, the high payout ratio fund. Did you run the closed-end fund report and look for funds trading at a discount?

I bought ESII due to the high ROC.

Before I bought ESII I had VET.UN, BTE.UN, BNP.UN and CPG.UN. Honestly, I miss picking individual trusts.
