Only partially a joke. Of course Israel needs the US to stay alive period. But Israel could complete the invasion of Syria in about a day with no help.

My expectation is that the US will start a hasty retreat from Iraq before June. Some troops may stay there for years but they are running short of soldiers and the real shortage starts this year. I can't see a return of the draft because we all remember the mess the last time they fought an unpopular war with draftees. So maybe some air action but I think the days of US invasions are coming to an end for the foreseeable future.
