Examples!

1 - Higher taxes.

2 - If I was a Canadian citizen could I in Canada, set up my own private medical insurance, competing in the areas covered by the government that offering better coverage then the government for more money? Can I set up a medical practice in Canada that refuses to take government money, or that takes government money but also accepts private payment? Can I buy healthcare privatly in Canada if I don't like the restrictions on the government will pay for? If the answer to any of these questions is No, then the freedom of Canadians is limited by the single payer system.
