In a philosophical way, yes there is gold on Mars. Was it the pursuit of gold that lead the pilgrims to America? Was it gold that inspired Daniel Boone and many others? Money is an inspiration to some. A man once told me of the people in the middle ages who tried to turn other minerals into gold. Surprise, we have found something more valuable than gold; assets. We can turn many other things into assets. Mars is filled with potential assets, most of which are not minerals.
