I'm not a technician but I've seen enough high right shoulders get invalidated in the last few years to be cautious calling it either way.

Oil demand must be going down otherwise airlines wouldnt be starting fare reductions imo.

I'm always amazed at the complete lack of ability to raise the price of airline tickets. Some of these low fares are severely restricted, with expensive change penalties, but still. I can't imagine that we will see as many airlines in ten years, operating in the US, as we have now.
