Gee, for a second there I thought you actually wanted to have a civil discussion, having posed some interesting questions. Guess you just couldn't resist. Nevertheless, I'll try to address your questions.


You probably won't believe me, but I really meant that. It was not meant as un-civil. I really do think that you are a wise person, especially in financial matters.

Ok ...now I've read the rest of your post. Seems like there is no plan right now for SS. Bush wants a bipartisan solution. That sounds good. I only meant to state what I hear is being proposed by Bush.

Still the mumbo jumbo of what funds are guaranteed to SS and what funds are borrowed against it, is a bit hard to decipher. Course with the deficit booming...and the debt already huge, maybe in true accounting we're already broke and borrowing.

So what kind of SS program would you propose to the Congress?
