Yup, had AGNT in the trickle portfolio and the original lock-up expiration hell portfolio. It was one of the worst performers in both. Sales went flat in 2001 and never (organically) recovered, despite new product offerings. The made an ill-fated buy of an Irish reagent and chromatography company that never helped; they later divested for a loss.

Their stuff always seemed to me to have potential; Doctor Voodoo the Biofreak community's resident chemist, was less sure. So be sure your chemist friends are unequivocally enthusiastic should you decide to take a flyer on it. They used to sell for less than cash, but now they don't. Not a good trend when the stock price has been in a multiyear downtrend, too.

Cheers, Tuck
