Hersh

You can't get at him because he takes the rumors he gets and weaves them into an article by tying them to "unnamed sources." This article is a classic example of it.

He goes over covert stuff I hope we are doing and puts as bad a slant on it as he can. Let's say we do 100 black ops. You know some of them will be mistakes or go sour. If he can get the dirt on the bad ones, he can make us look terrible to the world on everything we do.

The left has given up on the "Vietnam" example and is now going with the "Iran/Contra/San Salvador death squads" slant. They are blackening our name world wide by building on the idea that we are treating the terrorists badly.

This is Hersh's opening pitch to go after us for going to net-centric warfare to get these bastards. He will expand it and distort/slant it as much as he can.

It certainly is interesting to see when one checks any search engine, how very many articles Hersh has written that are so anti-US.

He's very full of himself.

And you will note that he doesn't ever give any proof of any of his anti- statements. Just the charges....

The CIA contacts he "quotes" are probably the same ones that gave both the Clinton and the Bush Administrations the wrong information.
