Hard to say, maybe the only thing the US can do is to sponsor a puppet president after this current president comes down. And what the US needs to know is that Venezuela is not the only nation in Latin America which dislikes the US. Brazil among others also not quite get along with the US too well either. So how much power the US could engage in in their back yard while Iraq is still a mess?
