Of course, to assume I know anything of our gov'ts inner workings is not within the realm of reality, but I would think the objectives are different. In Iran, we want to destroy their nuclear capabilities and lay the groundwork for toppling the regime. In Iraq, the main objective was toppling the regime.

Anyway, I'd hate to see more troops committed to ground action. Wouldn't you?
