Perhaps but what if they're actually wrong? We drained the Everglades and found out decades later that, heck, they clean the water before it flows into the ocean. If the nay sayers about global warming are WRONG, it has a species-limiting consequence. It's much better to have a vigorous debate on both sides while, in the meantime, erring on the side of extreme caution. Do we really WANT more emissions and toxins in the air as Bush does?
