We certainly get a lot of opinions on the "Iranian street." The talking head consensus seems to be that the average Iranian likes up personally, but will get up in arms with nationalistic ferver if we take out their potential Nuke capability.

I think we have learned from Iraq that is has to be a raid. No way we can occupy the country. I don't think the Mullah's government will collapse if we do take out the Nukes. But DOD might think so, as Hersh suggests. No way to know.

When you take out Hersh's negative comments, even he seems to realize that what we are doing is the best way to go. I would like to see our SO command take over the CIA black ops and leave the CIA as an Intel only outfit. The SO guys have the best chance of managing that type of operation of anybody in the Pentagon.
