Moving right along... Saddam was an evil dictator world emperor wannabee who is no more.

Point of fact world emperor wannabee...but never could be...because under the sanctions and no fly zones...the only arial attack that Saddam could mount was chasing his cigar butts around the toilet bowl.

Imagine the world today had saner folks been paid heed. Saddam out of power without a shot being fired. 100,000 less people dead. $200 billion dollars saved. A more respectful and peaceful world. A captured bin Laden and a more stable Pakistan. These are all done with the full support of the UN.

With this administration we have fallen in disfavor amongst our allies and fallen to the lowest support ever from Muslim countries. Worse we are in another unwinnable guerilla war. The war is not solving the political divide that existed in Iraq before and now after the war. With power being vied for from three directions.

The power struggle in Iraq now has the Shia in a position to rule over the Sunni, with the US thumb on the scale. What will happen when the US leaves Iraq?

I think that when you're taking peoples autonomy away you have A PROBLEM. That's the core of the problem in Israel, and really all over the Middle East. It's the traditional tribal conflicts. But you can't solve this problem by going tribal, which is exactly what we have done.
