Jazz is always outstanding----young Russian man playing the electric violin with some of the best local jazz musicians in the D.C. Metro area. Also, one of the oldtimers who played with John Coltrane stopped in to listen. Always a privilege to meet those with experience. Live jazz is not in demand now-----musicians abound and want to play-----so my avocation is helping them get gigs. Perhaps this will change----everything has cycles. I may host a home jazz concert in the spring----listening concert---takes some doing. (Just like a 100 years ago when people had "parlor" concerts.) Combination will likely be, piano, bass, and drums and maybe electric violin. Limiting computer time-all for now. mj
