First...how do you know that Saddam did give his WMD to terrorists?

You don't know that. No one knows that.

You can't run a war on terror based on assumptions and wild ass guesses.

Further...do you think that Saddam is going to trust someone else with a WMD right in his own country? Especially a terrorist? Who may use the WMD on Saddam himself? If, as you say, Saddam wanted to get WMD desperately, why then would he give them away?

Saddam trusted no one. There might have been a few fugitive terrorists in Iraq, but it's never been clear that Saddam allowed it, except for a couple of old washed up Palestinians. And you know he had his eye firmly on those boys...with instructions to them to keep out of trouble or else.

Trouble is what you get when you let your imagination run way ahead of the facts. That's a vantage point from where errors in judgement are almost guaranteed. Just ask Bush.
