No, to me aborting a baby is an unspeakable evil and impacts our society in that it promotes a culture where individual choice is more important than life itself. So that creates a society that is corrupt.

It upsets you but it doesn't impact your daily life and it doesn't make society corrupt even though by you think it does. Changing SS impacts everyone.

However, I believe in individual choice as long as it doesn't harm society or other citizens. Therefore, I believe in choice wrt social security. I believe we can retain many of the good aspects of social security (enforced savings, social safety net, progressive benefits for lower incomes), while also strengthening the system by being smarter about what the assets are invested in.

That sounds reasonable.
