Yes, it did have to do with Tony's travel arrangements. But apparently the defense also claimed that Tony had discussed his relationship with Royer with the probation officer. You'd think they'd have wanted the officer to testify to that.

actually i thought i rememebred reading he did testify. emeber I have oldtimers disease but my recall was of the PO saying tony told him about his contact with royer, his reports and his trading. I also thought I rememebr the PO testifying that tony DID NOT tell him about his side trip to lebanon when the PO approved his trip to Egypt.

If he didnt testify I must have dreamt it :)
