In today's WSJ section R which is devoted to "Technology", there is an article by Jesse Drucker on 3rd-generation cellular service, and he points out that "3G is finally arriving in the U.S."

He also mentions that Nextel, which has announced plans to merge with Sprint, are both considering developing a system using WiMax since Sprint and Nextel own spectrum able to carry WiMax. But he points out that "the technology hasn't been standardized and deployment is likely many years away."

At any rate, the stock remains on a near term down trend since Dec.2 and seems it is going to retest support at the $12 level. Will see if that holds.<g> (I have an order to buy some at 10.90 just in case.<g>)
