Hi Win, I agree with your complaints about extremists being close minded. However, I have not witnessed any supression of scientific study of evolution... only the challenge to theory of origins that tends to spring from it... that challenge seems to be offensive only to lab cloak clerics (the other extreme). "Of course, true believers are equally adept at suppressing inconvenient portions of Christ's teachings, like the camel and the eye of a needle thing, but that's another story." An important parable and I agree the extremists tend to be dismissive of it. Why do you suppose extremists tend toward being materialists as well?
