Reality: Debt needs to be repaid, even in a Monetarist economy. -- Everyone likes Grandpa Reagan when he has a new credit card to pay for things. The history of Argentina demonstrates that growing debt faster than the economy is popular in the short-run. Ultimately it cripples the economy with crushing debts. .
