I see Reagan and Bush as ideal Republican candidates. Both are likable, easily manipulated frontmen who come across well on television and stick to the script. Ideal candidates for a "nation of salesmen", not too intellectual, but then, who is? Certainly not the mass of the American people. TV candidates for a TV worshipping nation. As deep as the phosphors inside your TV.

I like to think my vote counts but realize voting on all points of governance is impossible; unless your in Switzerland as I've been told. So I elect a representative. If he or she fails my expectations I vote them out. I am though constantly frustrated others impede my wishes with their misguided voting.
